About The Position

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of the Front Desk while ensuring exceptional guest service from arrival through departure. This leadership role is responsible for supervising and developing the Front Desk team, supporting daily operations, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining Westgate's high standards of hospitality. In this role, you demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous Front Desk, hospitality, hotel, or resort experience required.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must uphold Westgate Resorts' standards of professionalism, integrity, leadership, and guest service.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with hotel property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, train, and support Front Desk team members to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Oversee daily Front Desk operations, including guest check-in, check-out, room assignments, and reservations.
  • Assist guests by resolving questions, concerns, and service recovery situations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare daily reports, review arrivals and departures, and monitor guest accounts and cash handling procedures.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other resort departments to ensure guest readiness, including VIP arrivals.
  • Create Front Desk schedules and conduct team meetings to communicate operational updates and service expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and quality service standards.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching, recognition, and accountability as needed.
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional Front Desk environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
