About The Position

At the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Hartford Airport, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure smooth daily operations. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will assist in overseeing the front desk staff, coordinate guest services, and ensure excellent customer service standards. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and resolving any issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel front desk role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Marriott experience prefered
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Fidelio) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support front desk staff to maintain high standards of service.
  • Provide front desk coverage
  • Manage daily front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
  • Train and mentor front desk team members.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to front desk activities.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
