About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the Front Desk functions, in accordance with hotel standards. This role requires directing, implementing, and maintaining a strong service and management philosophy that serves as a guide to respective staff. The supervisor must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Key duties include maintaining complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and assisting staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas, presenting guest folios and processing payments, and adhering to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior supervisory experience a plus.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
