About The Position
Fieldstone Animal Inn in Millersville, MD, is seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Desk Specialist and Client Greeter to join our vibrant pet care facility team! As a Front Desk Specialist and Client Greeter, you'll be the welcoming face (and voice!) of Fieldstone Animal Inn, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients and their beloved dogs. This is a crucial front-line position that combines exceptional customer service with essential administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Full-time employment.
- Customer service/admin experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- Must work weekends, holidays, and complete weekday training.
- Genuine love for animals and dedication to their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly at their vehicles in all weather conditions, gathering important information about their dogs and efficiently relaying it to our pet technicians.
- Provide outstanding service via phone and in-person, maintaining a professional demeanor, clear communication, and attentive listening skills.
- Accurately log dogs in and out, confirm client information, process payments, share email correspondence, ensure vaccine compliance, and assist with confirmation calls.
- Work closely with pet technicians and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for every dog.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks, from data entry to client interactions.
