The Front Desk Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role is responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling support, and delivering exceptional customer service while helping patients navigate CAHN's system of care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical office, customer service, or front desk experience.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic health record systems preferred; eClinicalWorks experience strongly preferred.
  • Medical collections experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register new and returning patients.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility information.
  • Assist uninsured and underinsured patients with available resources.
  • Educate patients on appointments, services, payment responsibilities, and required documentation.
  • Follow up on missed and canceled appointments.
  • Process payments and balance end-of-day reports.
  • Support telehealth follow-up scheduling.
  • Maintain front desk operations, supply inventories, and required reporting.
  • Participate in daily team huddles and other assigned duties.
