About The Position

This role involves answering telephones, responding to inquiries, taking messages, and screening and directing phone calls in a professional manner. It also includes processing student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques, providing excellent facility tours and explanations of the program, and resolving member concerns/complaints professionally. The representative will greet parents and students, maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area and other specified areas, handle email correspondence, and provide occasional administrative support. Additionally, they will help prepare documentation and reports for pool staff and enforce safety rules and regulations, administering first aid when necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience required.
  • Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.
  • Must have weekday morning, evening, and weekend availability to be considered.
  • Able to maintain a consistent schedule of at least 3 shifts per week, including 1 weekend day.
  • Willing to obtain/maintain current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 60 days of hire.

  • Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets parents and students as they check in for lessons.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area, changing areas, restrooms and observation area throughout the shift.
  • Handles email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  • Helps prepare all documentation and reports for pool staff.
  • Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
