Requirements

2+ year of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

medical office certification a plus

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries
Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information
Coordinate referrals and communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Manage front desk administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and handling correspondence
