About The Position

Optima Medical is seeking a Front Desk Representative to join its Arizona-based medical group. The organization provides personalized healthcare across Arizona and Nevada, with services that include primary care, cardiovascular health, behavioral health, allergy testing and immunotherapy, in-house lab testing, imaging, chronic disease management, and other specialty services. The Front Desk Representative supports patient check-in and appointment coordination, handles phone communications, and maintains patient and insurance information.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience (required).
• Experience with EMR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of medical front office experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage.
• Collect past-due balances and copayments at patient check-in.
• Answer phones and relay messages.
• Confirm patient appointments.
• Schedule initial and follow-up appointments.
• Input and update patient information, including insurance information.
