About The Position

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum of 1 year customer service and/or business office experience
Superior verbal communication skills
Professional image in person and over the phone
Ability to easily establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions
Ability to listen and understand the needs of clients, staff, and the general public
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and supporting hospital software applications
Ability to work respectfully with and adapt to co-workers
Ability to maintain composure and assist in stressful situations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task when necessary

Nice To Haves

Associate or Bachelor degree
Some health care related experience

Responsibilities

Screens for safety and directs incoming calls or visitors to the appropriate individual or department, ensuring excellent customer care.
Answers questions and researches inquiries requiring more in-depth information.
Collaborates with Administrative, Clinical, and Medical staff in routine and emergency situations.
Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
Receives, sorts, and forwards mail and packages.
Accepts and completes special projects as assigned.
Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
