The Front Desk Receptionist performs routine clerical and administrative work in answering telephones, assisting clients and visitors, providing assistance, crucial support to prescribers, clinical reporting and scheduling. The role involves greeting and welcoming clients and visitors, checking them in and out on the electronic health record system, answering phones, taking messages, and performing general office duties such as scanning, faxing, and making copies. Responsibilities also include scheduling appointments, processing referrals and intake appointments, providing support to prescribers (both in-person and virtual), assisting staff with efficient scheduling, conducting daily scheduling outreach, submitting summary reporting data, processing prior authorizations, facilitating medical records requests in compliance with regulations, electronically storing and recording patient information, supporting interdisciplinary teams, maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding PHI in compliance with HIPAA, and assisting with opening and closing the clinic. The position also requires performing other duties as assigned to ensure a positive client experience and meet operational needs.
