About The Position

The Front Desk Receptionist supports the daily administrative functions and front-office operations of Eva’s Village while serving as a welcoming first point of contact for clients, visitors, employees, volunteers, vendors, and community partners. You will help create a professional and effective experience by supporting campus communication, office operations, and client and visitor needs. This role works collaboratively across departments while protecting privacy and using sound judgment in routine and unfamiliar situations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of receptionist, front desk, or related administrative experience required.
  • Good communication, organizational, and technical skills; ability to multitask with strong attention to detail; professional and friendly demeanor; ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; strong emotional intelligence, active listening, critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word applications; ability to use Microsoft Teams and Outlook for workplace communication; ability to operate standard front office equipment, telephone and paging systems, and maintain databases and administrative records.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact, greet and direct clients and visitors, provide accurate information about Eva’s Village programs and services, and connect individuals with the appropriate program or department.
  • Manage incoming calls, telephone and paging systems, messages, email inquiries, outgoing mail, and general correspondence while maintaining a professional and organized front office.
  • Maintain shared spaces, coordinate office and campus supplies, monitor inventory and office expenses, process supply orders and invoices, and support business card and front-office equipment needs.
  • Maintain parking permit records, telephone and emergency contact lists, databases, and other administrative records to support efficient campus operations.
  • Follow visitor and vendor security procedures, support campus access protocols, and protect client and employee privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Work across departments to address client, visitor, staff, and operational needs, communicate messages through Teams and Outlook, and use active listening, emotional awareness, critical thinking, and sound judgment when responding to concerns.
