About The Position

Turning Point is currently accepting applications for a PRN Receptionist to work on weekdays. Turning Point Receptionists are responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to internal and external customers while directing visitors, answering multiple phone lines, responding to routine questions, and routing calls to other personnel. This position also assists with the coordination of the patient admission process including proper intake call routing, scheduling transportation, and greeting patients upon arrival. Responsible for other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned. This position shift is 8:00am - 4:30pm. There is also some availability at times for work during the weekends to cover for routine absences or increased workload, but this position would primarily be scheduled for weekday work as needed. This position qualifies for shift differential pay from 3:00pm - 4:30pm. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of experience as a receptionist or in customer service
  • Great organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment/computers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced, variable environment
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • One (1) year experience in a patient care field
  • Experience working with substance abuse or behavioral health patients
