Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, OR one year of applicable cumulative, job-specific experience.
• Attention to detail: A commitment to accuracy when handling patient information, scheduling, documentation, and financial transactions.
• Customer service skills: A friendly, professional approach and a genuine desire to help patients feel welcomed and supported.
• Organization & teamwork: The ability to manage multiple responsibilities, adapt to a busy environment, and work collaboratively with others.

Nice To Haves

• Medical office experience: Preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, manage check-in and checkout, and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Verify and update patient demographic information, obtain and confirm authorizations and precertification's, process medical record release requests, and schedule and confirm appointments.
• Enter, review, and submit daily charges for patient procedures and services, collect patient co-payments, and reconcile daily reports and deposits with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide essential administrative and clerical support to your assigned area, helping our healthcare team stay organized, efficient, and focused on delivering outstanding patient care.
• Bring a positive attitude, a commitment to excellent customer service, and a patient-first mindset to every interaction.
