About The Position

Breuckelen Athletic is seeking 1-2 part-time individuals to join their team as Front Desk/Operations Support. This role is crucial for the daily operations of the facility, focusing on ensuring members have a seamless experience, smooth day-to-day operations, and maintaining a high standard for the facility. The position requires a willingness to contribute to all aspects of gym upkeep, including cleaning, and a proactive attitude. This is an opportunity for an organized, problem-solving individual who enjoys taking ownership of their work to grow with the company. Breuckelen Athletic emphasizes a good work-life balance with fixed schedules, requiring evening or weekend availability.

Requirements

  • Able to work 16-24hrs/week broken up into 2-3 days a week
  • Availability should include some combination of mornings, evenings and/or weekends
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including excellent email skills and etiquette
  • Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 25-45 lbs frequently and 50+ lbs occasionally
  • Able to operate in both a fast paced environment with a focus on operational (gym space + administrative) orientated work
  • World class customer service skills
  • Works hard, multi-tasks and is a problem solver
  • Passion for the Breuckelen Athletic Brand

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant area, that can allow you to grow with BA is preferred but not required
  • Experience as an executive assistant, hospitality, operations and/or digital marketing is a good to have but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet every member and guest with enthusiasm and a smile
  • Tour potential members around the club with the goal of signing up the person for a membership
  • Answer all inquiries in a professional and energetic manner
  • Execute all opening/closing operational procedures to ensure the club runs smoothly
  • Actively participate in ensuring the club is spotless including frequent bending, lifting, and walking around the club to organize equipment and straighten up
  • Sign members up for startup sessions with our coaches
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
