About The Position

LivSmart Studios by Hilton West Valley City is seeking a Front Desk Night Auditor/Laundry Attendant. This full-time position involves managing guest reservations, processing transactions, handling laundry duties, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the lobby and work areas. The role requires proactive customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle guest issues effectively.

  • Ability to identify and overcome guest issues quickly and attentively.
  • Approachable, hospitable demeanor when interacting with guests in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

  • Manage guest reservations including check-ins, check-outs, and online/phone reservations.
  • Wash dirty linens, dry, and fold them (at least 4 hours per shift of laundry time).
  • Process credit card and cash transactions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a high level of service.
  • Prepare Daily Activity Reports and manage deposit drops.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and work area, including weekly deep cleaning.
  • Conduct property and pool checks.
  • Handle occasional package shipments or receiving.
  • Manage incoming customer calls.
  • Utilize sales skills for new reservations, including rates and availability.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the property, including room types, amenities, and breakfast service.
  • Ensure guest security by following handbook procedures.
  • Abide by company policies, including dress code, reliability, and reporting to management.
  • Be able to perform other tasks as requested by management, including flexible work hours.
