About The Position

SafeSplash Cedar Park is seeking a Front Desk Lead to support clients and visitors, maintain client accounts, manage retail sales, coordinate communications and events, and assist with donations and social media. The role requires a professional, hospitable disposition, a strong customer-service focus, and the ability to handle customer escalations. The schedule is flexible and includes some evenings and weekends, with expected hours of up to 36 per week. Pay starts at $17 per hour and depends on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Exceptional customer-service focus, including delivering a quality experience and handling customer escalations.
Experience using spreadsheets and word-processing software such as Microsoft Suite.
Dependable and flexible schedule; must be able to work some evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Swim lesson and/or competitive swimming experience, including knowledge of the four basic strokes, teaching curriculum, and stroke progression.
Customer service experience.
Experience working in childcare or education.
Leadership or training experience.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Greet, welcome, and direct clients and visitors appropriately.
Maintain client accounts by recording accurate, up-to-date information; take client payments when necessary; and schedule classes and appointments.
Assist clients with retail merchandise, know the retail products and related information, and manage retail sales.
Prepare and track donations to nonprofit organizations.
Co-manage the social media account by sharing swimmer milestones and upcoming events.
Schedule, promote, and participate in special events.
Keep client communications updated and visibly posted in public lobby areas.
