About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and organized Front Desk, Intake Coordinator to join our growing behavioral health and substance use treatment team. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, families, referral sources, and community partners. The ideal candidate is welcoming, detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about helping individuals seeking recovery services.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare, behavioral health, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or emotionally sensitive situations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and direct incoming calls while maintaining confidentiality
• Support intake and admissions processes
• Collect and enter demographic, insurance, and referral information into the EMR system
• Explain intake paperwork and program expectations to clients and families
• Maintain accurate intake logs, documentation, and front desk records
• Coordinate communication between clinical, medical, and administrative teams
• Provide compassionate support to individuals in emotionally sensitive situations
• Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality standards
