About The Position

This role is responsible for managing guest reservations and providing excellent guest care. The coordinator will handle incoming reservations, assist guests with existing bookings, respond to inquiries, and communicate effectively via phone and email. Additionally, they will address guest issues related to their stay and cabin, and respond to maintenance calls. The position requires clear communication, attention to detail in system entries, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Subject to internal and external environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Take guest and owner reservations and ensure accurate entry of information in the system while using company sales model.
  • Assist guests on existing reservations.
  • Respond to and follow up on inquiries.
  • Communicate over the phone and/or via email to guests.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in training manual (e.g., notating each folio; communication of cancellation policy as directed; application of discounts; etc.).
  • Respond to maintenance calls from guests.
  • Handle guest and owner issues related to the cabins and their stay.
