About The Position

The Front Desk Greeter is responsible for projecting a positive, welcoming image to members, visitors, and vendors. This role involves consistently meeting Shell FCU Service Commitments, the Shell FCU Employee Creed, and Shell FCU Service Distinctions. The position requires knowledge of and compliance with applicable rules and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, and completion of annual training. The Greeter must perform duties in compliance with Shell FCU policies, procedures, philosophy, and standards of performance. Key duties include greeting members, visitors, and vendors with a smile, offering directions, signing members into Better Lobby and providing wait times, and ensuring security protocols like removing sunglasses and hats are followed. The role also involves checking on members, offering refreshments, and contributing to a positive and high-energy branch environment. Maintaining awareness of the lobby and branch surroundings is crucial. Additionally, the position entails various administrative and clerical duties, working 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed, and adhering to a rotating opening, closing, and Saturday schedule. Collaboration with the Management team for sending reminders and updates, maintaining marketing materials, handling Credit Union popcorn days, and ensuring the branch lobby is clean and presentable are also part of the responsibilities. The Greeter will fill check stand supplies and marketing materials, receive and distribute packages, and may assist in training new greeters. Support for daily team responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures, balancing the coin machine, and potentially assisting with vault operations and inventory audits, is expected. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
  • Welcoming and helpful demeanor.
  • Must possess professional verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an open-concept workspace/environment.
  • Must be able and willing to work 40 hours per week plus overtime, as needed.
  • Must be able to work the rotating opening, closing and Saturday schedule, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Complete annual training sessions as instructed or scheduled.
  • Perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance to Shell FCU policies, procedures, philosophy, and standards of performance.
  • Greets and welcomes each member, visitor, and vendor with a smile.
  • Kindly offers direction to the appropriate area and/or team member.
  • Sign members into Better Lobby and offers an estimated wait time, if applicable.
  • Ensures member’s sunglasses and hats are removed for security reasons, prior to entering the branch.
  • Check in on the member when time permits and offer water and or coffee.
  • Aids in creating a positive and high energy environment for the branch.
  • Maintains awareness of the lobby and branch surroundings.
  • Performs various administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
  • Must be able and willing to work 40 hours per week plus overtime, as needed.
  • Must be able to work the rotating opening, closing and Saturday schedule, as needed.
  • Works with the Management team to send out important reminders, daily productivity, and other useful information to the team.
  • Updates Marketing material throughout the branch, as needed.
  • Handle Credit Union popcorn days as assigned including operating the machine, handing out popcorn, maintaining supplies and cleaning the machine.
  • Maintains the branch lobby clean, clear of clutter and presentable for all visitors.
  • Fills check stand supplies and Marketing material as needed throughout the branch.
  • Receive and distribute packages and/or deliveries as needed.
  • May assist in training new greeters as needed.
  • Assist the team with daily responsibilities as needed, included but not limited to: Following opening and closing procedures.
  • Daily balancing of the coin machine.
  • May assist with daily opening and closing of SDB vault as well as completing an inventory audit.
  • Willing to assist the team at other branch locations, if needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
