About The Position

Carmel currently has an opening for a Full-Time Front Desk/Fitness Floor Attendant. Fitness Floor Staff and Front Desk Staff are primarily responsible for providing a clean, safe environment while providing assistance to those training in effort to provide helpful training environment for all Carmel Country Club members and guests using the Fitness Center. Additionally, Fitness Floor Staff will be responsible for assigned cleaning duties. The hours required for this position are Wednesday - Friday, 6:00am - 1:00pm. Saturday, 12:30pm - 5:30pm, Sunday, 1:00pm - 7:00pm.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age to work at Carmel Country Club and have a youth certificate filed.

Responsibilities

Greet members by name upon arrival & departure of the fitness floor.
Check members in the JONAS system.
Offer members assistance with equipment; in addition to answer member questions regarding equipment, operational issues, workouts, if it is within your scope.
Promote all fitness programs including but not limited to: Personal Training, Massage, Group Exercise Classes, Fitness Events, etc.
Makes reservations, assist with billing and distributes towels.
Places, answers, and directs phone calls and distributes messages.
Walk-through the gym regularly to interact with members, maintain fitness floor, and all fitness equipment.
Enforce all Fitness rules to members (age limit, cell phone, guest etc.).
