Position: Front Desk Dental Receptionist Location: Forest, VA (with some hours in satellite offices) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Starting Wage: $17/hour Immediate Hire! Orthodontic Arts is on the lookout for a dynamic and upbeat Front Desk Dental Receptionist to join our fast-paced, multi-doctor practice. We have locations in Forest, Bedford, Farmville, Keysville, and Madison Heights, and we’re dedicated to making people smile with our advanced orthodontic treatments. About Us:At Orthodontic Arts, we use aligners and braces to align children’s and adults’ teeth and correct their bites. We love to make people smile! We embrace technology and are always looking for ways to help our patients complete their treatments more efficiently and comfortably while creating an enjoyable experience.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous experience in a dental/medical office
High School Diploma/GED
Strong communication and organizational skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Experience with social media management of a business account is a plus
Some workdays may be in a satellite office location (transportation provided)

Responsibilities

Answer phone calls, emails, and texts, obtaining details to schedule patients correctly and respond to requests
Enter information accurately into the practice management system
Contact patients to fill open appointments and document contacts made and received
Follow up with patients as needed
Receive and post payments accurately
Pay attention to grammar and spelling in texts, emails, letters, etc.
