About The Position

As a Front Desk Coordinator I, you will be responsible for assisting patients with check-in/out procedures, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and maintaining patient records. Your excellent communication skills and customer service mindset will be essential in providing a positive experience for patients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, verifying personal information
  • Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
  • Assist with billing inquiries, insurance verification, and payment processing
  • Maintain and update patient records in compliance with regulations and internal protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy standards at all times
  • Provide support in resolving patient issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner
