Dr. Catalano specializes in wisdom teeth removal, extractions, bone and soft tissue regeneration, custom implantology, removal of tissue lesions, and expose and bond procedures. He offers in office IV Sedation as well as other sedation options to make every procedure more comfortable and relaxing.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental/oral surgery or medical office preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Energetic & engaging phone presence
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft & Gmail
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Friendly demeanor with a passion for patient care
Team player, willing to cross train or help others within the office if necessary
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of the insurance verification processes is desirable
CPR/BLS certification
HIPAA/OSHA training
Bloodborne pathogen training (we can assist with receiving the 3 above listed and required certifications)

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for the oral surgery practice
Verify patient insurance and process and post payments accurately
Create custom treatment estimates and review with patients
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about procedures and services offered.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality while following HIPAA laws for patient privacy
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Assist in managing office supplies and inventory
Promote a positive and loving atmosphere for all patients and visitors
