About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to work the weekend shift from 7:00 am- 3:30 pm Saturdays and Sundays. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing late check-ins and early check-outs, and ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours.
Requirements
- Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours
- Basic computer skills: familiarity with hotel property management systems is a plus
- Be dependable, punctual, and have a professional appearance
- Be able to stay awake during late hours of the night and go to the hotel if the guest has an issue in person
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-ins, checkout, and inquiries
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest requests professionally
- Monitor hotel activity to ensure guest safety and security overnight
- Handle reservations
- Complete a shift log of any incidental reports
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary
