About The Position

HealthCARE Express is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Bilingual Front Desk Team Member / Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.) to join our Mount Pleasant team. Our D.O.F.I. team is often the first and last interaction a patient has with us, so this role is about much more than checking patients in. You'll help create a welcoming experience for our patients while keeping important front-office processes moving throughout the day.

Requirements

• Friendly, reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position
• Comfortable communicating with patients in both languages throughout the workday

Nice To Haves

• Previous medical office or clinical experience is helpful
• Eager to learn and genuinely enjoy helping others

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and verify information at check-in
• Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish
• Answer phones and assist patients with questions
• Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient accounts
• Collect payments, post charges, and provide receipts
• Scan and maintain patient documents and reports
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Keep front-office forms and supplies organized and stocked
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
• Cross-train and step in where needed to support the clinic
