Front Desk Attendant Part Time/Full Time 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
About The Position
Hotel Royal Oak is a boutique, retro-modern motor lodge located steps from downtown, built around energy, music, and connection. It offers a social, design-forward stay with a laid-back but polished vibe. The company is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Front Desk Attendant to be the face of the hotel. This role involves handling check-ins, guest interactions, and helping to create a seamless and memorable stay. The position is available for both afternoon/evening (3PM–11PM) and overnight (11PM–7AM) shifts, offering both part-time and full-time opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong reliability and punctuality (non-negotiable)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to stay calm and solution-oriented under pressure
- Comfortable working independently, especially for overnight shifts
- Must be 21+
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Bartending or bar knowledge is a plus (we can train the right person)
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a confident, friendly, and professional presence
- Check guests in and out using our PMS system
- Handle guest requests, questions, and problem resolution in real time
- Support bar service, room service, and lobby experience when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front desk and lobby
- Monitor property activity and ensure a safe, secure environment (especially overnight)
- Communicate clearly with team members across shifts
