About The Position

The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Center at Horseshoe Bend Country Club. This role provides exceptional customer service to members and guests, handles phone calls and emails, manages court bookings, and promotes programs and events. The attendant is expected to take initiative and demonstrate diligence to ensure an exceptional experience for all members and guests.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience or experience in a similar setting.
  • Comfortable with computers and technology; ability to learn Microsoft Office and Northstar platforms.
  • Knowledge of role during emergency situations.
  • Aware of fire and life safety procedures.
  • Able to obtain a City of Roswell Pouring Permit.
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and an open, courteous, and friendly personality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Tennis and enthusiasm for the game is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Projects a positive image of self and HBCC at all times.
  • Creates an exceptional experience for all members and their guests.
  • Engages effectively and interacts well with members and their guests.
  • Answers Member questions regarding HBCC Tennis programs, Swim programs, Youth programs, merchandise, and events.
  • Utilizes Northstar Club Management software for Tennis, Swim, and Youth management and billing.
  • Assists with the planning and execution of HBCC Tennis, Swim, and Youth Events.
  • Performs administrative duties for events and programming, including planning, participation tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Facilitates communication with league captains and visiting team captains.
  • Serves food and beverages as needed, and assists with league play and event food and beverage services.
  • Promotes HBCC programs, events, and merchandise.
  • Maintains the facility through day-to-day activities.
  • Maintains clear communication with HBCC personnel.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
  • Promotes and implements all Club standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Understands and complies with all policies in the Club Employee Guide and Handbook.
  • Completes special projects and assignments as directed by the Athletics and Youth Activities Manager.
