About The Position

The Front Desk Associate role at Raleigh Durham Embassy Suites involves overseeing front desk operations, acting as a primary point of contact for guests and teammates, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. This position also includes supporting and training new team members, resolving guest issues efficiently, and managing daily administrative tasks to maintain a welcoming lobby environment.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience – You’ve got the people skills and patience to keep things running smoothly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent – Because communication, math, and common sense are key.
  • Tech savvy enough to use hotel systems with confidence.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet – This role keeps you moving, literally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality or leadership (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk operations and step in as the go-to problem solver for guests and teammates alike.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs with accuracy, warmth, and just the right amount of charm.
  • Support and train new front desk team members.
  • Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally.
  • Help manage daily tasks like event sheet distribution, business center support, and keeping the lobby guest-ready.
