About The Position

Join the opening team at Moxy Hotel & Residence Inn Portland Thompson’s Point, a brand-new dual-branded Marriott hotel opening Summer 2026. This is a chance to be part of something new from the very beginning, welcoming guests to a vibrant stay steps from Thompson’s Point’s concerts, events, dining, and culture. We’re looking for friendly, energetic Front Desk Associates who love hospitality, great guest interactions, and creating memorable first impressions. As the face of the hotel, you’ll welcome guests, support their stay from check-in to check-out, and help shape the energy of a brand-new property. This role also includes bartending service, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys both front desk hospitality and beverage service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy connecting with people, and bring strong customer service skills (with bartending experience a plus), you’ll fit right in.

  • Hotel front desk experience
  • Bartending or beverage service experience
  • Brand hotel experience
  • Familiarity with property management systems

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
  • Handling check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries
  • Providing information about the hotel, amenities, and local area
  • Bartending, including preparing and serving drinks and maintaining responsible alcohol service standards
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate billing records
  • Coordinating with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met
  • Resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally
  • Keeping the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Maintaining confidentiality and following strict key control procedures
  • Staying informed on hotel offerings, local events, and promotions
  • Supporting other departments as needed in a team-focused environment
