About The Position

The Front Desk Assistant acts as the first contact with our customers and visitors and receives incoming calls. The mission statement of the company is "To fulfill the highest expectations of our customers through the hands of our dedicated employees."

Requirements

  • Must be customer service driven and able to communicate clear and effectively.
  • Must have basic working knowledge of computer use, to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook e-mail and calendars.
  • Ability to interact well with customers and co-workers.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Understanding of customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years receptionist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
  • Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
  • Receives incoming phone calls.
  • Welcomes, registers, and directs visitors as needed.
  • Checks visitors in and out during off hours using the Easy Lobby software.
  • Issues temporary security cards, enters and deactivates security cards, and monitors card access system.
  • Maintains log for temporary security cards that are issued.
  • Monitors office deliveries by signing off on packages and notifying employees.
  • Checks in and instructs employees picking up employee purchase.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
