About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing superior guest services, including check-in/check-out of hotel guests courteously and efficiently. This role involves processing all payments according to established hotel requirements and providing information and services to guests and visitors in a friendly, professional manner. The agent must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, and handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. Additionally, the role includes generating daily reports, resolving discrepancies with housekeeping, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
  • Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
  • Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
  • Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
