About The Position

River Terrace Inn is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide a welcoming first impression for guests. This role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and responding to guest inquiries. The Front Desk Agent ensures excellent customer service, accurate billing, and smooth daily front desk operations while maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere. The Inn is ideally situated along the Napa River, near Oxbow Public Marketplace, the Culinary Institute of America, and downtown Napa, making it a prime Wine Country destination. The Inn offers inviting rooms and suites with river views and fireplaces, providing accommodations that feel like home with a chic, boutique aesthetic. The property includes 114 rooms, a fitness center, and the ALBA Restaurant, and is within walking distance of various attractions.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and point-of-sale skills
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if required
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel operational needs

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with Marriott and Light Speed PMS and operational software including windows, excel.
