We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Front Office team.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or in a high volume industry dealing with customers.
  • Passion for providing guests with excellent customer service and thriving to always ensure guest satisfaction and enhance their experience to make it a memorable one.
  • Flexibility in working a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Team spirit.

Nice To Haves

  • Marriott brand experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel.
  • Performing the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, and coding electronic keys.
  • Assisting guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards.
  • Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area, and other general product knowledge, and answering guest questions and inquiries.
  • Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy.
  • Responding to guest inquiries and requests and resolving issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Fielding guest complaints, conducting research, and resolving and negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction.
