About The Position

The Front Desk Agent takes part in servicing our guests around our beautiful Hotel and you'll be part of a great team of helpful people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction. A Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing prompt and courteous service, and checking guests out at the end of their stay - all while striving to deliver outstanding guest experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
  • Ability to communicate well with guests
  • Willingness to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
  • Considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error
  • Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
  • Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons

  • Effectively dealing with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
  • Observing and detecting signs of emergency situations
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons
  • Remaining professional at all times, and treating all guests and associates with courtesy and respect, under all circumstances
  • Adhering to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns
