Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager / Shift Manager, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for all functions concerning the arrival, departure, and hotel services of hotel guests. This includes warmly greeting guests, providing a seamless registration, arrival, and departure process, and maintaining thorough knowledge of the property and local attractions to advise guests. The role also involves communicating with Customer Care for future reservations, assisting with walk-in bookings, responding to guest requests, and offering alternative options if requests cannot be satisfied. Additionally, the agent provides bell assistance upon departure, performs other assigned duties such as assisting Rooms Control based on business demands, and adheres to all property protocols and guidelines, including wiping down high-touch surfaces before registering guests.
