About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering a welcoming, organized, and professional experience for members and guests. This role supports daily front desk operations, manages reservations and inquiries, and helps coordinate communication across departments. This position is well suited for college students, educators, and individuals with customer service or hospitality experience who are looking for seasonal work in a structured and service-focused environment. Success in this role comes from strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems and reservation platforms
  • Professional demeanor and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a high-interaction, service-focused environment

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests in a warm, professional, and attentive manner
  • Manage check-ins, reservations, and general inquiries with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide information about Club amenities, events, and programs
  • Assist with special requests and ensure a smooth, positive experience
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, ensuring clear and timely communication
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest activity, and daily transactions
  • Process payments and charges in accordance with Club procedures
  • Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support member needs
  • Assist in preparing daily event sheets and internal communications
  • Stay informed on Club activities, schedules, and updates to provide accurate information
  • Communicate member feedback or concerns to leadership when needed
  • Assist with light retail operations including merchandise sales and inventory support
  • Support administrative tasks related to front desk operations and event coordination
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
