Requirements

• At least one year of experience in front desk operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations.
• At least a high school education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and provide personal recognition.
• Review daily arrival lists and help prepare and assemble welcome amenities.
• Escort VIPs to their rooms and check them in before arrival.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings, respond to questions, or transfer calls as appropriate.
• Manage the issued bank, count it at the beginning and end of the shift, follow cash-drop procedures, and report cash overages or shortages to management.
• Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
• Assist with lobby activation as needed.
• Follow proper procedures for handling guest personally identifiable information.
• Follow check-in and check-out checklists and obtain required identification documents and payment upon guest arrival.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
