About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, processing check-ins and check-outs according to hotel requirements, and adhering to payment and cash handling policies. This role also involves generating and distributing daily reports and resolving discrepancies with the Housekeeping department. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. The agent will provide superior guest services, including checking guests in and out courteously and efficiently, processing payments, and offering information and services in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Computer experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
  • Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently.
  • Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
  • Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
