Front Desk Agent (Part-Time) - Hampton Inn & Suites - Biltmore Village
About The Position
As a Front Desk Agent, you will represent the hotel through all stages of a guests' stay, from check-in to check-out. You will accommodate guest requests whenever possible, assign and register guests to available rooms, and coordinate room status with our other hotel teams. You will also familiarize yourself with all Biltmore Farms policies, procedures, and facilities, and act as a considerate, creative, and confident concierge. At Biltmore Farms, we are a team that welcomes our guests like family, and working collaboratively is key to success. This position requires tact, diplomacy, grace, and patience.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) used by guest who visit the workplace
- Be professional in all dealings with guests and co-workers
- Identify problems and review information
- Must be able to use math skills to solve problems quickly and correctly
- Concentrate and not be distracted while performing a task
- Must be able to multi-task
- Anticipate guest needs
- Be aware of others' actions and reactions and understand possible causes

- Previous hotel-related experience desired
