The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and communicating cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel. This role also involves assisting in pre-registration and blocking of reservations, accurately managing cash handling, and having a complete working knowledge of the front office systems and procedures. The agent must be able to handle all daily transactions, post charges accurately, and manage reservations with special requests. A thorough understanding of hotel rates and discounts is also required.
