About The Position
Williamston Community Schools is seeking a Freshman Boys Soccer Coach. This position reports to the Athletic Director and Building Principal. The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience, a philosophy consistent with Williamston High School’s educational goals, and the ability to work effectively with young student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for organizing and conducting practices, communicating with coaches and the Athletic Director, and providing leadership and support for high school policies.
Requirements
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Philosophy consistent with Williamston High School’s educational goals
- Able to take direction and make mature decisions
- Flexible schedule, available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work effectively with young student-athletes
- Sport Specific Knowledge
- Leadership qualities
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibilities associated with the role of a coach
- Organize and conduct practices during the season
- Communicate effectively and as directed with coaches and Athletic Director
- Provide leadership
- Be supportive of high school academic, behavioral, and building policies
- Supervision of athletes
