About The Position

CP Fresh, a Charlie’s Produce Company, is seeking a Fresh Fruit Processing Associate for their state-of-the-art processing plant. This role is responsible for preparing, processing, and packaging fresh-cut fruit products according to company specifications and food safety standards. The work is performed in a cold production environment as part of a team that creates finished fruit items for distribution. CP Fresh aims to enhance communities through quality produce and prepared foods, and is looking for dedicated individuals passionate about food and their community.

Requirements

Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and safety procedures.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Team oriented attitude and reliability in attendance and performance.
Regular attendance at the facility is required.
Weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with manual knife work or food processing equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, process, and package fresh cut fruit products according to company specifications and food safety standards.
Cut, slice, dice, peel, and bag fruit products using knives or mechanical equipment.
Wash, weigh, and package fruit according to recipe and portion guidelines.
Follow standard recipes and production specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
Operate high speed mechanical processing equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following GMPs and food safety.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals in a refrigerated environment.
