About The Position

The Fresh Food Team Member works in Sheetz’s Fresh Food Shipping & Picking team to help move products out to stores so they remain stocked. The role involves unloading trucks, selecting and putting away products, and preparing orders to meet daily production and shipping needs. Team members use equipment and follow processes to keep work organized, safe, and efficient.

Duties include picking and labeling ready-to-eat and bakery orders, checking and receiving incoming products into inventory, loading totes and trays onto trucks, assembling and wrapping ready-to-eat items, replenishing picking areas, and packaging and palletizing products for shipment. Foodservice or warehouse experience is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and no licenses or certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Pick ready-to-eat orders for stores, fill totes, and label orders for shipment.
• Select bakery orders, fill totes, and label them accurately.
• Count and check incoming ready-to-eat products, verify labels, and receive products into inventory.
• Load totes and trays onto the appropriate trucks for delivery to stores.
• Assemble and wrap ready-to-eat items.
• Keep picking areas stocked with finished products.
• Package products into cases, stack pallets, and prepare orders for shipping.
