About The Position

Join the Festival Foods team as a Fresh Cut Lead! This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality ready-to-enjoy produce and an excellent guest experience. As a Fresh Cut Lead, you will guide a team of fresh cut produce associates to ensure the highest standards in fresh, ready-to-enjoy fruits and vegetables. You will oversee inventory, maintain department standards, and create a seamless shopping experience for guests.

Requirements

High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
Experience in stocking, retail sales associate, or produce associate roles.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Understanding of on-the-job safety, food safety, and sanitation best practices.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and with care.
Lead, coach, and train fresh cut produce associates to ensure high performance and exceptional service.
Monitor stock levels, track shrink, and ensure accurate pricing for fresh inventory.
Ensure quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met within the department.
Assist guests with product selection, take special orders, and resolve concerns.
Collaborate with store leadership and vendors to ensure the smooth operation of the Fresh Cut department.
Maintain a clean and efficient workspace to support productivity.
Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.
Perform other duties as assigned.
