About The Position

Join the Festival Foods team as a Fresh Cut Lead! As a Fresh Cut Lead, you’ll guide a team of fresh cut produce associates to ensure the highest standards in fresh, ready-to-enjoy fruits and vegetables. You’ll oversee inventory, maintain department standards, and create a seamless shopping experience for guests.

Requirements

High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
Experience in stocking, retail sales associate, or produce associate roles.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Understanding of on-the-job safety, food safety and sanitation best practices.
Ability to stand in place for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a cooler.
Ability to walk in the store.
Ability to bend, stoop and kneel regularly.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
Functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and operate equipment.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service, including greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
Lead, coach, and train fresh cut produce associates to ensure high performance and exceptional service.
Monitor stock levels, track shrink, and ensure accurate pricing.
Ensure quality, food safety, and cleanliness are consistently met.
Assist with product selection, take special orders, and resolve concerns.
Collaborate with store leadership and vendors to keep the Fresh Cut department running smoothly.
Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Maintain regular, timely attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
