About The Position

As a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk, you’ll prepare fresh fruits and vegetables by slicing, dicing, and packaging produce. You’ll check produce for freshness, maintain clean and organized prep areas, create attractive displays, assist with inventory management and restocking, and provide customer service. The role is active and fast-paced and involves working with food in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in grocery, food service, or produce preparation is preferred.
• Comfort using knives and other preparation tools safely and precisely.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety and handling guidelines.
• Friendly, helpful attitude and ability to assist customers and communicate clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to support fellow associates and contribute to a positive store culture.
