About The Position

Join the Festival Foods team as a Fresh Cut Lead! Report to: Produce Department Manager. Lead a team while delivering high-quality ready-to-enjoy produce and an excellent guest experience! As a Fresh Cut Lead, you’ll guide a team of fresh cut produce associates to ensure the highest standards in fresh, ready-to-enjoy fruits and vegetables. You’ll oversee inventory, maintain department standards, and create a seamless shopping experience for guests.

Requirements

High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
Experience in stocking, retail sales associate, or produce associate roles.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Understanding of on-the-job safety, food safety and sanitation best practices.

Responsibilities

Providing exceptional guest service, including greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
Leading, coaching, and training fresh cut produce associates.
Monitoring stock levels, tracking shrink, and ensuring accurate pricing.
Ensuring quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
Assisting with product selection, taking special orders, and resolving concerns.
Collaborating with store leadership and vendors.
Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
Other duties as assigned.
