About The Position

Sub Teacher Source is seeking an experienced French Teacher for a long-term substitute assignment at an independent middle school in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves teaching middle school French across multiple proficiency levels, developing engaging lessons and assessments, creating a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with department staff and incorporating educational technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Missouri Teaching License
• Native or near-native fluency in French.
• Experience teaching multiple levels of French.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom-management skills.
• Must reside in the state of Missouri

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of French teaching experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ACTFL standards and proficiencies preferred.
