About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a French Teacher for a corporate client in Paterson, United States. This is a one-to-one, freelance, part-time position with a total of 50 hours, scheduled in two-hour sessions once per week. The lessons will take place at the student's office in Hawthorne, NJ. The student is at an elementary level, aged 56-64, and motivated to learn French for business purposes related to a new acquisition in France. The schedule is flexible, and the hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native French speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Hawthorne, NJ.
- Ability to submit a CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- State earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one French language training to an adult student.
- Conduct lessons at the student's office in Hawthorne, NJ.
- Adapt teaching methods to an elementary level student.
- Facilitate learning for business communication needs, including meetings and discussions.
- Potentially incorporate immersion opportunities during the student's monthly travel to France.
