Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in French, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Solid background in linguistics, translation, or related field.
• Proven ability to adapt language for various contexts, audiences, and purposes.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy and consistency.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple projects.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with international or multilingual teams.
• Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools and language technology.
• Background in training or coaching on language and communication best practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert-level French language support for a variety of business needs, including translation, localization, and cultural adaptation.
• Review, edit, and proofread documents to ensure linguistic and grammatical accuracy aligned with brand voice.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate clear and effective communication.
• Develop, refine, and implement language guidelines, terminology databases, and style guides.
• Provide consultation on linguistic nuances and best practices for written and verbal communication.
• Participate in training sessions to upskill team members in French language usage and intercultural communication.
• Research and stay current with evolving French linguistic trends, terminology, and standards.
